South beach
The floor of the basement flat shakes as it's right on top of the Metro in Clichy. Time to go to school! It's the 1980's and we eat cheap frozen food for breakfast. A young girl seeks a quick getaway to her future to the turquoise swimming pools at dusk.

Addict
"Sweet things are often the result of mistakes."
Said a famous Parisian apothecary in the 18th century.

I am pretty, so pretty...
Lindsay showed me his neighbor's houses. One is peach. One is lilac. One is mint. But I don't know what Lindsay taste like. Julian does.

Urbanity
Alyana, Tomiwa, Galith and Vahine

Emilie in Sally's house
Emilie posed for the first time in front of a camera. We shot in Sally's house deep in West Hollywood. It became my visual sanctuary. Julian introduced me to Sally & Emilie. Julian wears a gold Rolex, but that's not entirely his.

The Casting
Lorenza, Console, Maria, Jess, Vanessa, Emma are auditioning to be Go-Go Dancers. The Ushuaia in Ibiza is looking for new dancers. I am not quite sure about the criteria required. I feel unsure how to react to this slightly paternalistic ritual. However Lorenza is strong she owns and controls her own image. Maria's fake lashes and pink lipstick are armour. Vanessa has Walt Disney Princesses tattoos on her arms. Maria reminds me of Madonna.

Chinese Ladies
Lulu showed me China. I felt unhappy there. I screamed at her during the six hour bus journey to the Valley of Sichuan. She found my frustration very amusing, screaming as I was sat in the golf cart driving up the final stages. We bumped into happy, contented women taking selfies.

Looking for my mother

A Sunday in Champagne

Éteindre le feu
Johnny's gone. My mother would have cried. Didier, Sharon, Michel are upset at me and my intruisive camera as they join the crowds of the Champs-Élysées. Sometimes you do feel like a vampire.

Josephine & Younma, daughter & mother, rue Myrha.

Pull up the Bumper
Diana, Maria or Jesse dance their last dance of the season at the closing Party of the Hi Club in Ibiza. Not quite sure what the autumn will bring.

La baie des Anges
Mm Fernand has a dress the color of sunflowers and she wears a diamond ring on each finger. She is 90 years old and offers me a whisky at 11 am with our coffees. She's into young men, "men above 60 are boring". She says I should work in real estate, I'll make real money. One of her tenants, "a little salope" she says, doesn't pay her rent. She might push her down the stairs one day - no one will know. "Ok, I better go", I say.
